Viet 41 Technology Joint Stock Company ("V41", "we") operates the ParentPal app ("App"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your and your child's information when using the App.

The App is designed for family use, managed by parents and used by children under parental supervision. We are committed to protecting children's privacy and complying with COPPA regulations.

2.1 Parent Information

• Registration email and password (encrypted)
• Full name and profile picture (optional)
• Social login credentials (Google, Apple) if used

2.2 Child Information

• Display name (created by parent)
• Login PIN code (encrypted)
• Photo evidence upon chore completion
• Activity data: reward points, badges, virtual pet status

2.3 Family Data

• Household structure and member roles
• Chores, campaigns, and points transaction history
• Savings goals

2.4 Technical Data

• Device tokens (FCM token) for push notifications
• App version and operating system

• Provide and operate the App features
• Authenticate parent accounts and child profiles
• Send notifications on chores, rewards, and family activities
• Improve App quality and user experience
• Provide technical support upon request

We do NOT sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

• Children cannot register accounts independently — only parents can create child profiles
• Children log in via parent-set PIN code without requiring an email address
• The App does not collect sensitive child data (birth date, home address, phone number)
• Chore submission photos are only visible within the family household
• No advertisements shown to children
• Parents have full rights to view, edit, and delete child data

• Passwords and PIN codes are hashed prior to storage
• Connections are encrypted using TLS/SSL (HTTPS)
• Data is stored on secure servers with restricted access
• Audit logging system for administrative operations

Parents have the following rights:

• Right of Access: View all family data stored in the App
• Right of Rectification: Update personal information and child profiles
• Right of Deletion: Request deletion of account and all associated data
• Right to Withdraw: Discontinue using the App at any time

To exercise account deletion rights, please contact us via email below. We will process requests within 30 days.

The App utilizes the following third-party services:

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): Push notifications
• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In: Quick login (optional)

These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their respective policies.

• Data is retained as long as the account remains active
• When an account is deleted, all personal data is deleted within 30 days
• Anonymized data may be retained for statistical analysis

We may update this policy periodically. Important changes will be announced via the App or email. Continued use of the App signifies acceptance of updated policies.
